Digambar Singh is an Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering) in College of Technology and Agriculture Engineering, at Agriculture University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. He deals with multidisciplinary research including renewable energy, alternate cleaner novel fuels, and hybrid vehicles. His current research area is focused on developing economical, sustainable, and environmental friendly alternative fuels for internal combustion engines. He is actively associated with the development of biodiesel setup (Capacity- 1L per batch) and production of biodiesel from different generations of feedstocks. Optimization of biodiesel production is also done in order to get the highest biodiesel yield with properties of fuel within permissible limits. He has also explored the performance, combustion, emissions, and exergy analysis of compression ignition engine with the use of Biodiesel, hydroxy, and acetylene gas with diesel in dual fuel mode. He is an active reviewer of various SCI and Scopus indexed journals. He also provide free online classes for mechanical engineering students on YouTube (Mechanical.study free online classes) with 11500+ followers and 0.66 million views. He is collaborating with scientists across the globe to share knowledge in the area of alternate cleaner novel fuels, renewable energy, and hybrid vehicles.
